Your posts on Classic Trav went along way towards getting me to pick up the game and try it out, and I'm incredibly glad I did so.

BigFella: Repo services are already implied in the main book, and it's job that pretty much begs to have PCs stuck in it. Lots of opportunities for out-of-bounds shenanigans.

Chris T: Awesome! Man, that adds all kinds of possibilities to my current campaign. And if the players decide not to get involved, that'd make a great background event.

Underminer: Ooh, that's a nice twist. Do you have a launch date on that game yet?

805pm: The original idea was for Vampire, but I could see that version working better for Trav, where the assumption is that the players are older and (nominally) wiser than the usual PC types.

Jerry Cornelius: Thanks. Rockstar is my favorite, too; I pretty much have to run it in some system, someday.Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15528192783751011497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32029386.post-47669909864576571872009-05-17T12:07:00.000-04:002009-05-17T12:07:00.000-04:00Great ideas there. I went one further though and made it a wayward, gets-into-all-kinds-of-trouble teen pop sensation.

It actually worked fairly well as it gave everyone in the group something to do. A survey crusier jumps into a system containing a Black Hole and is pushed into a unknown sector of the Galaxy. The crew will have no idea of where they are at, and will have no idea of how to get back. The vessel is unarmed, and they will be on the edge of a expansionist empire of about TL10, (the vessel is TL16) which would love to get their hands on the survey vessel.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32029386.post-71170020793215829432009-05-16T00:04:00.000-04:002009-05-16T00:04:00.000-04:00re Big Game Hunter - adventurers think this a good...re Big Game Hunter - adventurers think this a good idea until they realise that they are part of an imperial secret service mission to undermine the government (assissinate the president etc) of a planet where the safari is scheduled/occurring.
