Can't really comment on the early stuff, although for whatever reason I find the modern environment endlessly fascinating. Or I will for the four months these things usually last.

Forrest: I'm getting there with the drafting. Came in 2nd in the first draft I ever played in, actually. But yeah, I love the flexibility that Magic has as my weekly/semi-weekly game.

Ragnorakk: I am afraid of online Magic. Right now it's strictly off-line for me so it remains something that improves my physical social life. I'd love to be able to draft core set whenever I wanted, though.

C'nor: Depends on how many cards you're looking at. I'm told that Ebay is the cheapest option for singles, but if you're getting a whole bunch at once, http://sales.starcitygames.com/addadeckform.php is the easiest option I know of.Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15528192783751011497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32029386.post-84539155142050938472011-05-31T12:05:38.155-04:002011-05-31T12:05:38.155-04:00Hmm. My buddy has them in ALL his decks. My counter-strategy was to drop some coin on four World-Bottling Kit cars, so I can just strip all of those eidtions out of his deck when I play him. 8)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32029386.post-47617529890448710302011-05-29T10:44:38.555-04:002011-05-29T10:44:38.555-04:00The Badger King says (since it won't let me se...The Badger King says (since it won't let me select my Blogger identity to post...)

I've started playing Magic again with some frinds lately, but we just buy whatever we can, and play for fun. I find modern Magic (ie. the cards that have come out since I stopped playing around HOMELANDS) compares to magic much the same as 4th Edition comapres to 1st Edition.... some of the mechanics are still the same, but the game has changed so radically, it's almost like a different game. I still play the ORIGINAL Dules of the Planeswalkers/Spells of the Ancients computer game on my computer every day. I have the new Steam powered one.... but I hate it. My biggest wish right now is if the Magic Encyclopedia would work on the internet reliably, so I could just use it to play against my friends (as it had a built-in "deck tester" utility, which allowed you you "play" an opponent, but you had to know the rules, as it was just like a regular game just over the Internet... no computer ruling). I miss the old days of Alpha through about Ice Age Magic... now THAT was fun. 8)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32029386.post-47812112056813330882011-05-29T01:51:30.152-04:002011-05-29T01:51:30.152-04:00Yeah, honestly I don't have any reason to beli...Yeah, honestly I don't have any reason to believe that anyone who already reads my blog plays enough modern Magic to care about this stuff.
